Flash Fiction Friday with Sue Brown and Tom Webb

Today I have author Sue Brown and Tom Webb, a wonderful book reviewer, joining me for another FFF. Hope you enjoy!

Tears streamed down Tom's face as he kissed Sue. He was only marrying her because it was expected. Blaine, his lover, stood off to the side with his fist clenched.

Sue pulled out of the kiss and brushed her fingers over Tom's cheeks. "Why are we doing this?" She asked.

"I don't know."

"Fuck em, this is wrong."

Sue faced the wedding party and squared her shoulders. "We won't be getting married tomorrow." Everyone gasped. "But Tom an Blaine will."

Hope you enjoyed this weeks FFF. Please show your appreciation for  Tom Webb and Sue Brown for being such good sports. They had no idea what I was going to write.

Final Admission by Sue Brown

James Trenchard is a dick. Everyone in Bingwell, Brock, and Bacon says so, and after Ethan’s first encounter with the man, he agrees. Ethan resolves to avoid James but ends up working closely with him and discovers the lawyer's hiding a secret from the world. Ethan also realizes he's falling too hard too fast. Ethan has to decide if he should help James and risk getting entangled in the mess James has gotten himself into, or move on. But walking away from love is never a simple decision to make.

  4. Saucy! Having been a wedding photographer, and seen a similar announcement, I had no trouble imagining the resounding silence immediately afterwards. Well done, Sara, and Merry Christmas. :-)

  7. That crashing sound is Tom's mother falling out of her chair. Sue is a good woman. Perhaps Tom and Blaine will have a king-sized bed big enough for the three of them when Sue comes over for dinner. Well done Sara, you've got style.

  8. Glad they stood up and stayed true to themselves. Hate to see the fall out with the guests and family, but bravo for all three. Happy Holidays, Sara! :)
